Our international trade partner, Carol Monteiro de Carvalho, gave an interview to the newspaper O Globo about a possible increase of the import duties on powder milk. The partner stated that "even with the increase of about 42%, the calculation of the final price is never automatic. Since most of the imports come from Mercosur, the affects to the consumer tends to be minimized".
