Mundie e Advogados is pleased to announce that named Diego Herrera Moraes as partner and head of the Mundie e Advogados’ Brasilia office, and that Isabel Mazoni Andrade has joined the firm as special counsel for the Compliance & Anticorruption and Aviation practices. These actions reflect the firm’s strategy to strengthen its operations in Brazil’s capital and in meeting clients’ increasing demand for such practices.

Diego Herrera Moraes has solid expertise in strategic Litigation & Dispute Resolution, both before administrative and judicial courts, with wide experience especially in Civil, Consumer, Regulatory and Antitrust areas. In 2011, he served as International Antitrust Specialist for the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., and is currently a professor of Civil Procedural Law at Universidade de Brasília. He holds a master′s degree from Berkeley Law (LL.M.), same institution that certified him in the field of Law & Technology and where he served as Associate Editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. He holds a Post Graduation degree in Civil Procedural Law from Centro Universitário de Brasília and in International Law from Ruhr-Universität Bochum in association with Universidade de Brasília. In addition, he holds a J.D. from Centro Universitário de Brasília and in Social Sciences from Universidade de Brasília.

Isabel Mazoni Andrade holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of Texas at Austin, a Corporate Law Post Graduation degree from FGV-Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a LL.B. degree (Bachelor) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. In the field of Compliance & Anticorruption, she obtained education at INSPER and at FGV (Fundação Getulio Vargas). She is a volunteer researcher for the G20 Information Centre of Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto. She is also a member of the Compliance Study Group of the São Paulo´s Lawyers Institute (IASP).In regards to Aviation, she has been highly regarded for this practice by Who’sWho, Chambers & Partners and Latin Lawyer.
