On October 14, 2015, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (“CADE”) approved a resolution establishing the procedure for online filings. 

According to the resolution, an online filing is the upload of digital files on CADE’s website that can be done by authorized users at any time.  

In this first moment, the procedure is applicable only to merger control filings. 

The online platform will be released on October 23, 2015.

The filing of documents at CADE’s premises in Brasilia is still allowed.
